November in Seville

November is probably my favourite month of the year. I love the sunny days, the light touch of chill in the air, temperatures still not quite cold enough to need a coat, except in the early morning or late at night.

At this time of year, the sunshine is inviting and finding a spot where the rays pour in through the window, feeling the warmth on your back, is one of the best feelings in the world.

There is a soft light, bouncing off every surface, bright and jolly in the clear blue autumn skies.

The nights draw in, inviting cozy evenings at home with a book or a pen. Warm tea, a comfy corner, a moment to simply chill alone or sit and enjoy great conversations.

Some of my favourite people have birthdays this month, which means it is also full of celebrations, laughter and happiness.

I love this time of year because it somehow feels more productive. Timetables change, the weather favours activity and it’s much easier to get things done. Since it also gets dark earlier, it means there is more time for rest and proper sleep.

November also brings the fast approaching end of the year but it still allows enough time for you to fit in any last-minute things you want to do before it does.

I love to simply wander. It is often warmer out than in and going for a paseo can be the perfect way to enjoy the city and the weather.

There are many cultural activities taking place in the city too, and I love checking the programming for some great shows and plays at the local theatre.

For writing fans, its NaNoWriMo, with plenty of writing inspiration coming at you all month long.

There are fewer tourists visiting Seville in November which actually makes it a great month to choose to come. So why not pack your bags, book your stay and come and explore?

What is your favourite time of year? What are you up to in November?
